Women cell

The Women cell works to create a supportive, respectful and equal environment on campus. It gives women students and staff a place to share concerns and seek guidance, and it builds awareness of women’s rights under the law.

Objectives

• Promote gender equality and sensitisation among students and staff.
• Create awareness of the legal rights and protections available to women.
• Provide guidance and support to women students on personal and academic matters.
• Encourage women students to take part in leadership and extra-curricular activities.

Activities

• Awareness talks and legal literacy programmes.
• Celebration of International Women’s Day and related events.
• Workshops on safety, health and personal development.
• Interaction with women professionals from the legal field.
